For the BBC rescreenings in 1994, Vivid Imaginations produced a small but impressive range of toys. Sadly, because the series was treated appallingly by the Children's Acquisitions department (who cut it to shreds) and the programme planners (who placed it in ridiculously early timeslots), the toys did not sell very well. JOE 90 JET AIR CAR Almost identical in size to the Dinky version, this is actually superior in several areas - most notably the fact that the wheels actually retract when the wings are extended (and the wings extend to a more accurate angle). A very nice toy indeed. Made in China. |
